This website and the GroundWork OS service are run by Sebastian Otto Wibaut, trading as GroundWork OS, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at [email protected]. A postal address is available on request.
These terms cover two things: your use of this website (section 10), and the service we provide to clients (sections 2 to 9). By subscribing you agree to these terms.
Our service is for businesses. By buying it you confirm you are acting for business purposes and not as a consumer.
The standard plan includes a website built for your business and hosted on our platform, an all-in-one message inbox, missed-call text-back, automated lead follow-up, a review funnel, local SEO pages, and support. You run it from the mobile app; we keep it running behind the scenes.
The Custom plan adds extra work agreed with you individually, such as ad management, SEO or Google Business Profile management. The scope and price of Custom work is agreed in writing before it starts. If that written agreement includes its own terms (for example a minimum term for ad management), those apply to the Custom work; otherwise these terms apply.
Every plan runs month to month after launch. There is no lock-in contract and you can cancel whenever you like by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we do not charge you again after that. We do not refund part-used months.
We can end the service by giving you 30 days' notice. We can also suspend or end it immediately if payment has failed and not been settled, or if the service is used unlawfully or in a way that harms our platform or other clients.
We will be straight about what leaving means, the same way we are on our pricing page. The website and the automations run on our system, so they stop when you go. But your customer list, your leads and your domain name are yours, and they leave with you. Ask at any time, before or after you cancel, and we will export your contact list and send it to you.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Beyond that, our total liability to you for anything arising out of the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by third-party platforms and networks outside our control.
The content on this site is general information about our service, not advice, and may change at any time. Do not misuse the site (for example by trying to break, overload or scrape it). Links to other websites are provided for convenience and are not endorsements. The design and content of this site belong to us.
